Position Overview:
The Finance and Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting and optimizing financial and operational processes within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) platform. This role involves implementing, configuring, and testing D365 solutions, as well as providing training and support to end-users.
Key Responsibilities:
Functional Expertise:
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations modules, including Financial Accounting, Procurement, and Supply Chain Management.
- Analyze business requirements, identify gaps, and propose tailored solutions within the D365 platform.
- Configure and customize D365 Finance and Operations modules to align with business needs.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for D365 Finance and Operations processes and configurations.
Implementation and Testing:
- Lead or participate in the implementation of D365 Finance and Operations solutions.
- Conduct functional, data, and process testing to ensure system accuracy and performance.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to D365 Finance and Operations functionality and performance.
Training and Support:
- Provide training and support to end-users on D365 Finance and Operations functionalities.
- Create and maintain user documentation and training materials for D365 processes.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for D365 Finance and Operations inquiries and issue resolution.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, and IT departments, to deliver integrated solutions.
- Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Participate in project meetings and provide clear, concise status updates.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest D365 Finance and Operations features and best practices.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and automation within D365 Finance and Operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
- Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, with a focus on functional analysis and implementation.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and core financial processes.
- Hands-on experience with D365 Finance and Operations modules, including Financial Accounting, Procurement, and Supply Chain Management.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
