Position Overview:

We are seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer with strong experience in Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support and optimize our client’s enterprise cloud environments. The ideal candidate will play a key role in cloud migration initiatives, operational support, and infrastructure automation, while ensuring reliability, scalability, and security of cloud platforms. This role requires a professional who can manage complex cloud environments, provide L3 technical support, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support cloud infrastructure operations across Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)environments.
  • Participate in cloud migration projects, assisting in the transition of on-premises workloads to cloud platforms.
  • Provide L3 support, including troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing long-term solutions.
  • Implement and maintain ITIL-based operational processes such as Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem Management.
  • Administer Active Directory (AD) and support identity and access management activities.
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and environment stability.
  • Develop and implement automation and scripting solutions to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
  • Monitor system performance, ensure high availability and reliability of cloud services, and proactively address potential issues.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure seamless operations and timely issue resolution.

Experience & Education Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) cloud operations.
  • Experience with cloud migration projects, particularly on-premises to cloud transformations.
  • Good understanding of ITIL processes including Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
  • Experience with Active Directory administration and identity management.
  • Working knowledge of DevOps practicesCI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows.
  • Experience in automation and scripting to improve infrastructure and operational efficiency.
  • Ability to provide L3 support, including complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Strong communication, team collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
