Arka Innovate is seeking a Technical Data Governance Specialist with expertise in Microsoft Purview and Azure Data Services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing data governance policies, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance, and integrating Purview with enterprise data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
• Implement and maintain data governance policies using Microsoft Purview.
• Ensure data quality, security, and privacy standards are adhered to across enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with data stewards and business stakeholders to define data governance frameworks.
• Support the integration of Microsoft Purview with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and other data management platforms.
• Monitor and enhance data compliance with regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.
• Assist in data classification, lineage tracking, and metadata management within Purview.
Required Qualifications
• Proven experience in data quality, governance, or compliance, with hands-on exposure to Microsoft Purview.
• Strong expertise in Azure Data Services (Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, etc.).
• In-depth understanding of data quality frameworks, data policies, and regulatory standards.
• Experience working with data security, access control, and privacy regulations.
• Ability to define and implement data governance best practices in an enterprise setting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications in Azure Data, Governance, or Compliance-related fields.
• Experience integrating Microsoft Purview with enterprise data architectures.
